Avocados have quickly become a staple item in many kitchens. We know about all of their unrivaled health benefits and versatile uses, but we often have to leave the preparation to the very last minute to avoid serving a browning avocado (which, let’s face it…isn’t the least bit appetizing). We’ve all tried various methods to keep these babies green. Splashing them with lemon or lime juice, keeping the pit in until the last minute, soaking the skinless avocado in water, are all popular attempts that do in fact work, but not for long. This method will keep your avocados beautifully green for at least four hours. Go ahead; make that guacamole for the big game far in advance!
How to Fight The “Browning Avocado” Problem
