½ teaspoon grated lemon zest

2 cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup cornstarch

½ teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

FILLING

1 cup heavy cream, chilled

3 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled & sliced

Cheesecake Tart with Berries

CRUST

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup pecans

3 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon fine salt

1 stick cold unsalted butter, cut into ½ inch pieces

FILLING

1 2/3 cups whole milk

4 large egg yolks

½ cup sugar

¼ cup cornstarch

8 ounces cream cheese, cut into 1 inch pieces

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

TOPPING

5 cups mixed fresh berries (raspberries & blackberries we prefer!)
